All data is stored exclusively in your local browser using the Chrome Extension Storage API (chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local). This includes:
No data is ever transmitted to any server operated by MeetingCost or any third party, with one exception below.
If you purchase a Pro license, the license key you enter is sent to Lemon Squeezy's license validation API (api.lemonsqueezy.com) solely to verify that your key is valid. No other data is included in this request. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy governs that interaction.
When you generate a share link, your meeting configuration (role names, headcounts, duration, and salary figures) is encoded as a URL parameter. This URL is only shared when you explicitly click "Copy Share Link". The share page decodes the URL entirely in the recipient's browser — no data passes through any server.
The extension reads the content of Google Calendar pages you visit in order to detect attendee counts and event duration. This data is used only to populate the cost calculator in the popup. It is not stored beyond your current session and is never transmitted anywhere.
None. There is no analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry of any kind.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, open an issue at the extension's GitHub page.
